Wilson College, founded 1869, is a private, Presbyterian-related, liberal arts and sciences women’s college. Our diverse curriculum offers flexibility and challenge in a personal environment to our students.
We want to empower you to achieve, to be independent, confident, articulate, ambitious and successful in whatever you choose. The college offers women more than 40 majors, minors and areas of concentration. All students have the opportunity to do research, undertake internships, and make presentations at conferences.
Wilson College welcomes students from throughout the world. Approximately 10% of the College for Women are international students. Our average class size is 13. This means that you will get academic support from our professors with the academic rigor that you expect.

Modest financial aid is available for academically talented international students. Student life offers more than 20 student-led organizations that focus on academics, athletics, government/leadership, publications, special interests, such as the international club, and social activities.

You should apply for a non-immigrant Student Visa (F-1) as early as possible, but you can only apply 90 days before the “start date” on your I-20. You can usually schedule the appointment online. Then, you will go to the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate, taking with you your passport and your I-20 issued by Wilson College. Make appointments early!
